I found something!
Now what do I do?

If you discover something in your adventures that directs you back to this website, you're one step closer to the cloud!

What did you find?

There are many things you might find in the wild which CLHQ has been diligently documenting and archiving. Soon you will be able to track your own inventory of some items that can be collected.

Below are a list of some things you might come across in your travels:

"Cache Hunters" Cards

A few Cache Hunters cards

These cards are your ticket to joining CLHQ's ranks as they track and explore the CLD. Each card represents elements of CLHQ's catalogue of research, discovery, and experience through their annals of geocaching and CLD exploration - called Cache Hunters.

Cache Hunters is CLHQ's public project, taking their knowledge of geocaching and packaging it in a game that can be played on the tabletop. It is traditional geocaching in a collectible card game, where merely playing the game generates positive energy that affects the CLD, helping to keep The Blue at bay.

Thanks to the Treasure Troops seeking out geocaches to stock with swag, and Arch Team exploring the far reaching of the Cloud, among other CLHQ agents, the Cache Hunters card collection is an ever-expanding catalogue of geocaching, and as you begin or expand your collection now with themed expansion cards, you will be more prepared to tackle the game and defeat the Blue when the game launches.

Cache Hunters is aimed to launch as a crowdfunded product through Kickstarter in late 2025. But many expansion, exclusive, and signature cards are already out in the world, ready to be found and collected or traded.

What if I find one? Whether you find one, win one, or buy one, you can decide whether you'd like to keep it in your collection and prepare for the game's release, or trade it with someone else for cards you may need, or give it away and bring a little joy to the Cloud, or place it back into a geocache as swag for someone else to find and discover.

Some cards include official Tracking codes for geocaching.com which can be moved or discovered. Some contain "Relic" properties that signify a rare and valuable attribute from CLHQ's transdimensional exploration. Some are created by other geocachers to become signature items, rare collectibles that can only be attained in person.

What have you found? What have you collected? Soon, you will be able to keep track of your card catalogue and strategize how you may be able to attain all you need for as complete a collection as possible.

Portal Imprint

Look up Imprint ID:

This is a special token which has, captured in its frame, a scene projected by a special Cloud Portal developed at Cache Line HQ. Cloud portals are able to peek into the CLD to analyze a scene where a positive energy pulse was detected along a Cache Line.

Inspire Portal Imprint - Podcacher Portal imprint disc tokens may depict anything from a visual location to an inspirational illustration. The visual is a snapshot of the signature of positive energy that has affected someone in a detectible way, and may have a similar effect on anyone who possesses it at a later date.

There are a variety imprint visuals and frame types, catalogued here at clhq.net, as research continues.

Cache Line Artifacts

Cache Line Artifacts, GeocoinsThese are the backbone of CLHQ's efforts to study the CLD. The artifacts come in the form of trackable geocaching geocoins, each with a unique code that can be owned and tracked at geocaching.com/track.

The artifacts are produced as 4 "fortitude" variants each highlighting a significant aspect of what gives people enjoyable, positive, memorable experiences:

Oddities

With the cloud existing in parallel to our own prime dimension, there's no telling what effect it may have connecting with our world. CLHQ has been tracking anomalies that can be traced back to CLD activity.

For example, there has been an occasional 'blip', discoveries of the likeness of creatures that seem to appear randomly nearby portal activity, classified as "Species NULL".

"Species NULL"

Cache Line Artifacts, GeocoinsThis form of what appears to be a type of bird, or fauna, first appeared during fabrication of special artifact mounts at CLHQ's labs. Their existence in our prime dimension seems innocuous, though the creature itself has not actually yet been directly observed. Its appearance here is a sort of tangible token snapshot of this creature's profile.

CLHQ believes this oddity to be more a nuisance than anything, as some of these tokens have been found in places where they could take up valuable space, or even cause havoc like affecting machinery or tripping people unexpectedly. Tokens of their likeness have also reportedly been found in some artifact packages shipped to new Line Guardians.

Research continues.
