Portal Breakthrough
A new Portal Imprint technology created by Cache Line HQ, the Portal Tracker, is launching in partnership with GHAGAFAP, an annual geocaching event in Ontario Canada. This tracker technology allows Portal Imprints to be tracked for analysis of Cache Line Dimension (CLD) energy pulses linked with their travels.
In the hobby of geocaching, trackable items have a unique tracking code which collect virtual logs through geocaching.com/track, documenting the item's travels and adventures. CLHQ has developed a system to reproduce selected Portal Imprint imagery tokens for distribution as Portal Trackers to detect occurrences of CLD energy pulses, tracking each related Portal Imprint Tracker's location in CLD space via the Cache Lines with which they interact.
The GHAGAFAP event will provide a theme and window period, Sept 14th 2024 through the next event in June 2025, to serve as an opportunity for community to be involved with the launch of this CLD tracker technology - the first GHAGA Geopal Race.
GHAGAFAP's mascot, Gustov the chicken, and new friend Linus the cat (a feline pet belonging to Cache The Line's Geoff May), will be competing to earn mileage distance and collect photos. Every Imprint purchased for this 'race' belongs to a 'team' and will have its statistics tallied along with the rest of the related Imprints on its team. At the end of the race, the team with the most collective mileage and relevant photos will win prizes. Individuals can also earn prizes based on their owned tracker TBs' statistics.
Team Gustov (tracked with Imprint PI0664) and Team Linus (tracked with Imprint PI0663) may have their portal trackers either set loose for travel around the world as trackable items moving between geocaches, or held with their owners to have their photos taken at memorable locations, events, with other people, or more during their adventures.
Details about the event can be found at www.GHAGAFAP.ca. More info to come.
