New report by Arch Team reveals groundbreaking discovery about the nature of Cache Lines

A groundbreaking discovery raises questions about the nature of Cache Line travel and portal destinations. Arch Team findings prompt further investigations into the nature of the Cloud.

CLHQ's "Arch Team", composed of archaeologist pair Iowa Jones and Louisianna Rose, have been traveling the front line of the Cache Line Dimension, exploring and studying the 'lines' that populate the CLD frontier. Their latest findings reveal that there may be more to the "Cloud" (the Cache Line Dimension) than first believed.

Troops and the Cloud

The Treasure Troops have been using highly specialized portals to enter the Cloud, and travel via specified Cache Lines, to the locations of what CLHQ detects as an energy surge believed to be a location that a Geocache will soon be found. They exit the Cloud on arrival at the surge, re-entering the Prime dimension at or near the location of the line's detected energy surge, where they are tasked with locating the target Geocache to determine if it has room to be topped with extra trinkets and treasures.

This ongoing mission is an effort to fulfill the mandate from CLHQ to attempt to increase the energy produced at these locations by boosting the happiness of the next finders of these Geocaches (a mission some are referring to as 'Make Swag Great Again'). The happiness and excitement experienced by the geocachers generates a form of energy that can only be detected via the Cache Line Dimension, where it is manifested in a tangible form - the Cache Lines - and through study may have potential benefits to our understanding of energy, energy use and resources, and even of reality itself.

What are Cache Lines?

Portal technology is proprietary and was first created by CLHQ long ago, during its nebulous undocumented history (see About CLHQ). What is known is that the travel portals - currently only large enough to fit small objects - are able to transpose items (like the Treasure Troops) into the Cloud, and return them to the Prime Dimension. The locations of entry and exit are entirely relative, managed by the CLHQ mainframe like a virtual network tethered over the Prime Dimension.

On re-entering Prime, the Portal technology is suffuciently precise to lead the traveler to within a reasonable distance of the detected energy surge in the CLD. When finished, the Treasure Troop then activates a new portal with a tool that is tethered back to CLHQ's location, so they are effectively pulled back home.

Until this report, the locations of CLD energy surges were believed to be located in our Prime Dimension. Jones and Rose had confirmed that they believed every location they'd visited to date reflected real world locations. However, after reviewing some oddities in their reports, the duo are now convinced that some Cache Lines lead to alternative, parallel dimensions.

Possible evidence of alternative dimensions

During one exploratory mission, Jones recounts he and Rose coming across a stash of hidden belongings. "We found it strange to stumble on a burlap sack filled with items of a variety of materials and metals, from clothing to decorative items," Iowa reveals. "My instinct was to start looking over my shoulder - I had an eerie feeling I was being watched. And not just by Lou."

Rose had been keeping an eye on Jones, but had already taken shelter behind a stone, scanning their surroundings. "It felt, when seeing the forest we were in, like the trees had eyes. Something didn't sit right with me, and that was before we even found the stash." Rose let Jones forge ahead while she had slinked along keeping out of sight. But as he began examining the sack of belongings, she stumbled on her own discovery.

"I spotted something unnatural covered by some leaves," Rose said. "I got closer and uncovered an old piece of paper that had curled up and looks to have been sitting buried for some time." Later the duo joked about the fact that the area could use a bit of a trash cleanup. Rose continued, "I pulled the paper in towards me and got my first look at what was written on it. It was a WANTED poster."

Rose explained that she's always had a very skeptical attitude towards believing things without having hard evidence - that's what feeds her desire to explore and find answers for herself. So when she read the poster, she first dismissed its intent. "The poster had an artist sketch of a human person. But it was the name that caught my attention: It was a WANTED poster for an outlaw named Robin Hood. I was intrigued! So I rolled it up and stashed it for later retrieval, then continued making my way to Iowa."

Not seconds after she arrived at the stash with Jones, they heard a distant sound. They ducked and peered in its direction, spotting a couple of people walking on foot, appearing over the crest of a small hill not far away. Iowa reacted, "With people now coming in our direction, we knew our time would be cut short and we had to find a safe place to activate our return portal." But just as they were about to do that, Rose hushed him with a suppressed "Shhh!"

At that instant, she says, they turned their heads to a quiet rustling not 10 feet ahead of them, between them and the hikers. They watched as a pile of leaves on the ground rose slowly, and out creeped the a shadowy hood. Rose proudly explained, "I knew that someone was watching! But it seemed they weren't watching US, thankfully. Still, I knew we were exactly where we shouldn't be, peeking over someone's belongings. And with how close we were to being discovered, it really was time for us to go."

She explained that as they attempted to slink away out of sight again and find a safe place to transit back home, Iowa mis-stepped and broke a twig. It was enough of a sound to prompt the hooded figure to halt and quickly look in their direction. Being small toys, however, meant they had a distinct height advantage, and they eluded his ground-level view. That gave them time to exit the scene and activate their return portal.

Findings

On returning to CLHQ to file their reports, Iowa explains, "While examining the stash of items, I did record detection of CLD energy being emitted from within. It's quite possible that some of those items had themselves recently traveled or been in close contact with the Cloud, or something from the Cloud."

Arch Team's findings are still being reviewed. But word among some CLHQ agents after this incident indicates the belief that the Cache Line which Arch Team explored may well have led to a potential alternative dimension or reality. In their case, one in which Robin Hood may exist, and where they had just explored a small part of Sherwood Forest.

Others are understandably skeptical. However the existence of Cloud energy permeating some of the items in the stash pile is another mystery the duo will be analyzing and studying in future missions.

About Arch Team

Arch Team is a pair of CLHQ Agents tasked with archaeological exploration of the farther reaches of the CLD, with the intentional focus on locating oddities and seeking out potential risks and dangers that might face the Treasure Troops while they carry out their own missions.

The two agents as of this writing are Iowa Jones and Louisianna Rose, a couple who have adventured and explored extensively together in their passion for archeological discoveries.
