Cache Line HQ has been monitoring unusual sources of positive energy throughout the CLD ('Cloud'). Geocaching finds have long been known to generate measurable bursts of positive 'smiley' energy capable of resisting the influence of the Blue. However, recent investigations by Arch Team have revealed an entirely new phenomenon.
Following their landmark contact with the Flamingosaurs of the Flamingoverse in 2025, agents Iowa and Lou have continued their exploration of that remarkably vibrant dimension. What they discovered this year has astonished researchers across CLHQ.
The Flamingoverse is not merely home to prehistoric flamingo-dinosaur hybrids. It is also home to intensely unique music. Lots of music.
While studying energy fluctuations throughout the realm, CLHQ analysts detected repeated spikes of positive CLD energy that did not correlate with geocache finds, or successful completion of major goals and challenges. Instead, the spikes appeared whenever certain flamingos performed music, or gathered for concerts.
Arch Team embarked on a months-long expedition, making contact with hundreds of musical flingos of every imaginable style and skill level. Jazz flingos. Blues flingos. Folk flingos. Metal flingos. Banjo-playing flingos. Synth flingos. Even one flamingo who reportedly performs exclusively on amplified coconuts. The result is the largest cataloguing effort ever attempted within the Flamingoverse.
Working alongside CLHQ researchers, Arch Team has documented dozens of talented musical flingos and their preferred band roles and instruments, creating collectible proxy cards that will be distributed as Cache Hunters swag during Midwest Geobash 2026.
Beginning at Midwest Geobash, agents will have the opportunity to find and recruit FlingoRockers, collect band members, their instruments, and equip them with their signature instruments, and unite them into unique bands.
Every successful FlingoRock concert unleashes tremendous waves of positive CLD energy. Energy capable of driving back the Blue.

Different combinations of musicians create unique synergies, performers thrive with extraordinary talent when paired with the instruments they were born to play.
Not every musician was easy to locate.
A select handful of legendary performers proved elusive even to Arch Team's seasoned investigative skills. Rumors place these mythical rockers across distant corners of the Flamingoverse, appearing only when the conditions were just right.
Known here collectively as the Legends of FlingoRock, these rare performers possess enough musical prowess to headline their fabled Beaks of Thunder Mega-Tour.
Should agents succeed in reuniting these legendary musicians and helping them perform another concert, researchers predict the resulting CLD energy surge could deliver one of the most devastating blows ever recorded against the Blue.
This July, after CLHQ has been promoting to the FlingoRockers the Midwest Geobash mega event in Wauseon, Ohio with its 'Rock and Roll' theme, many will be appearing at the event in unprecedented numbers. Attendees will need to work together to discover and collect these performers, to locate instruments, complete objectives, and unite many bands for unforgettable concerts.
Every complete band formed strengthens the positive energy network protecting our dimensions, and will create a new side-event concert to blast the Blue.

Arch Team is a pair of CLHQ Agents tasked with archaeological exploration of the farther reaches of the CLD, with the intentional focus on locating oddities and seeking out potential risks and dangers that might face the Treasure Troops while they carry out their own missions.
The two agents as of this writing are Iowa Jones and Louisianna Rose, a couple who have adventured and explored extensively together in their passion for archeological discoveries.
