Pi Day Swag Challenge!

Swag cards are a core element to the Cache Hunters catalogue - and magnetic numbers are here to stay! These are the first swag cards of Generation 2 collection being produced - try to collect as many as you want to win the PI DAY challenge for 2026!

Up for grabs are prizes from a mystery swag bag (geocoins, pathtags, trackables, cards, more!) available to the longest laid out and photo submitted sequence of digits of PI before March 31st. Here's how you can win that prize:

  1. Lay out the numeric sequence of pi (starting from 3.1415...) using as many clear number swag items as you can
  2. Take a photo of your unbroken sequence of digits, as long as you can make it
  3. Email the photo to contact@clhq.net, or post on social media and tag Cache Hunters TCG
  4. Enter as many times as you like - then follow and watch for the latest updates for the current longest sequence in case you want to beat it
  5. In honour of PI DAY (3/14), the longest submitted entry winner will be announced on March 31!
Consider trading or partnering with friends with a strategy to fill in holes and gaps with numbers you need and split the pot. Trading cards love to be traded! (After the challenge, you could keep the cards, or place them in geocaches as swag along with any other items you used!)

What can be used as numbers?
  • PI DAY Swag cards - cards of magnetic numbers one might find in geocaches (order a quantity of random cards below)
  • 6 7 Swag cards - the "6 7" swag card can be used as a 6 OR a 7!
  • Real geocache swag - Have you found any things in geocaches that are, or are shaped like, single digits? Use it! But, at least half your sequence must be Cache Hunters swag cards, and the photo needs to clearly show the sequence of digits

What should be in your photo:
  • Starting with "3", lay out as many digits of pi as you can with the items listed above (the decimal is optional)
  • BONUS if you use a real pie as the decimal!

More about Swag cards:
In the Swag collection alone, there are well over 200 cards now available, in swag booster packs to themed sets, all available in the shop. While most are fairly common things to discover, there are many unique items as well - and some items have exhibited signs of transdimensional activity and travel. These are rare relics that may afford more benefit in the game!

Find and collect as many as you can! Trade them, leave them in geocaches as swag, or collect them to boost your future adventures.

They may come in handy when YOU become a Cache Hunter yourself...

Questions and answers...

What are the digits of pi?
Great question. It would take more than a lifetime to answer. But here are the first 100:
3.1415926535 8979323846 2643383279 5028841971 6939937510 5820974944 5923078164 0628620899 8628034825 3421170679
How many number swag cards there?
In the full swag collection of cards, there are least 2 of each number. There are also cards for 6 and 7, on one card. The "6 7" swag card (available in its own set) can be used in the spot of a 6 OR a 7.
Can you guarantee I'll be able to recreate pi?
The cards in each booster, of each size, are randomly packaged. There's no telilng how long a pi you'll be able to create. And with enough skill and practice, you could even make an award-winning pie!
What IS the prize?
A mystery grab bag full of many goodies, from geocache swag and trinkets, to trackables and coins, to Cache Hunters cards... Win and find out!
