In 2024, the Golden Horseshoe Area Geocachers And Friends Annual Picnic (GCANY21) took place in Rockwood Conservation Area, Ontario. This annual weekend event is self-proclaimed as the longest running annual Canadian geocaching event
(barring pandemic years), with 2024 as its 21st year!
GHAGA Geopal Race participants have 1 year to gather as much (legitimate*) mileage as possible, and photographs during their travels, with the finish line at GHAGAFAP 2025.
Winners will be determined by mileage totals and qualifying photos within the race period.
* Legitimate is best defined as 'reasonable' travel. For simplicity, mileage calculation does not include Challenge cache visits, often logged as Found long after physical visitation and may include unintended TB visits skewing mileage during world travels.

Goal #1: Gustov is competing against Linus for the most mileage traveled (distance collected across all Visited and Dropped logs). Mileage will be totalled with the entire team.
Goal #2: Gustov will also earn chances to win for his holders for every valid photo taken of the Portal Tracker along its travels posted within the TB gallery.
