SUMMARY: The Treasure Troops' Arch Team has returned from a successful expedition, where a newly visited destination revealed another alternate dimension and a remarkable discovery: a thriving civilization of sapient alligators, fully fluent in our hobby of geocaching. Initial contact was made with a friendly local, identifying as “Scaley Pete”, found meticulously searching for a concealed geocache beneath a banyan root in a marsh network eerily similar to Florida’s Everglades.
We cautiously approached an alligator that appeared to be geocaching, who after expressing excitement upon recognizing our geocaching equipment identified himself as "Scaley Pete", and we engaged in friendly dialogue confirming that this hobby is also prevalent in their society. Notably, in this dimension, humans are not the dominant species — intelligent gators are.
On learning of the prevalance of alligators here, Pete was particularly intrigued by our mention of BAMARAMA 2026 (bamarama.org, GCB2R1R), the upcoming February mega-event set to feature Olympic-style geocaching competitions during numerous side events, such as Great Balls of Fire, Hoops, Ping to the Pong, Hotdog Olympics, and more.
Upon our return weeks later, Pete greeted us with thrilling news: inspired by our tales, their community hosted their first quadrennial Gator Games, a resounding success that showcased prowess, mental acuity, and incredible swamp agility. Winners were awarded shimmering medals, and the games were celebrated with a commemorative closing ceremony with glow in the dark rings.
Following these developments, CLHQ began observing the CLD for anomalies near Arch Team's excursion. Spikes of radiant positivity emerged in the "Cloud" near the coordinates - echoes of celebration, camaraderie, and earned victories. These energetic traces were strong enough to be detected and prompt additional research.
In recognition of this extraordinary phenomenon, CLHQ has catalogued the findings under “Operation Prestige”. As of this report, newly issued Prestige Cards - depicting moments of triumph from both our world and the 'Gatorverse' - are available through the CLHQ Shop. These collectible cards honour champions and achievers across dimensions, and Geocacher Prestige cards are officially trackable on geocaching.com! If played in Cache Hunters, they may be attached to Geocaches in play to be found, to collect the linked prestigeous energy.
In addition to commemorating prestige of 12 of the Gator Games' champion highlights, Geocacher Prestige highlights popular achievements attained throughout a person's geocaching career, including:
Cards of increasing prestige provide increasing value in the Cache Hunters card game, but are also produced with rare finishes, including holographic, silver, and gold faces. These foil variants are delivered in protective top-loader sleeves with a seal, along with a standard non-foil variant to allow optional use in gameplay.
Arch Team is coordinating with Pete and the Alligator Council (ALCO) towards establishing an interdimensional exchange program. Meanwhile, we urge all BAMARAMA attendees to show support for the Gator Games, as well as our own MEGA event BAMARAMA 2026 in Elberta, Alabama the week of February 21st by attaining official Gator Games Prestige cards and commemorative geocacher Prestige cards marking milestone achievements in your own geocaching career!

Arch Team is a pair of CLHQ Agents tasked with archaeological exploration of the farther reaches of the CLD, with the intentional focus on locating oddities and seeking out potential risks and dangers that might face the Treasure Troops while they carry out their own missions.
The two agents as of this writing are Iowa Jones and Louisianna Rose, a couple who have adventured and explored extensively together in their passion for archeological discoveries.
