CLHQ has launched a new series of Prestige cards that commemorate a variety of geocaching accomplishments and milestones, each ranging in significance from simple or easy, to plain old crazy, as there are some members of the worldwide geocaching community who are far advanced in statistics, and have reached milestone heights many may only dream of!
Order below by selecting an achievement, then a milestone, then a quantity of cards to order. Congratulate a friend, create a personal display, or continue to build your Cache Hunters catalogue...
In early 2026, finding of Arch Team during a mission led CLHQ to study a variety of radiant cache line energy spikes that were determined to be linked to a specific context of positive energy - bound to the completion of significant achievements and milestones.
Geocachers' Prestige cards include:
An official tracking code for every card order, discoverable on geocaching.com
Special prestigious holofoil finishes for the most elite, advanced achievements, which are also shipped in protective top loaders, with a non-holofoil version for dedicated use in gameplay
A name space for the geocacher's name or autograph to claim the milestone, which must be done to activate its prestigious energy. Cards may be ordered pre-filled if requested below, or blank to have signed by hand!
Now you can reward and recognize geocaching accomplishments, from easy to crazy, in these popular statistical categories:
Jasmer: Finding a cache placed in every month since May 2000
Fizzy: Finding a cache in every difficult and terrain rating combination
Smileys: Reaching increasing milestones of the count of success smileys in your profile
Finds: How many physical containers have been found since you began
One Day: How many have you found in a single day
Published: Number of geocaches you have published for others to find
Megas: Quantity of Mega events (size 500+ people) attended
Gigas: Quantity of Giga events (size 5000+ people) attended
Continents: On how many continents around the world have you found a geocache
FTFs: Total count of First-To-Finds you've attained
FTF Monthly Streak: Number of consecutive months you've successfully been First-To-Find
Daily Streak: Number of consecutive days you've found a geocache
In the game:
Collecting these cards within Cache Hunters affords additional bonuses for players as they recognize some of these celebratory moments. These Geocache Property cards can be added to Geocache stacks to boost the star value when found. Greater milestone levels can upgrade lesser milestones in play.
Creation of geocacher Prestige cards can be attributed to the hard work and exploration carried out by Arch Team in the discovery of a sapient alligator world, leading to the creation and release of a 12-card pack themed for the BAMARAMA 2026 mega event.
Optional: Enter a name to pre-fill the geocacher signature space.
Questions and answers...
As a geocacher who enjoys completing goals, how would I get these cards?
Let's say you just completed your 3rd jasmer, and surpassed 52 completed Fizzy grids (of each Difficulty/Terrain combo) - you may want to:
Purchase one Jasmer x3 milestone card and one Fizzy x40 milestone card to sign and have for people to discover at events.
Or, buy 1 of each of the milestone cards leading up your accomplishments (including say Jasmer 1, 2 and 3, and the fizzies up to 40 Loops) and create a mosaic of your increasing accomplishments over time, setting goals to reach the next milestones.
Or, buy a large amount of a special milestone cards pre-filled, and have them ready to give away or trade with others who may want to collect as many users' milestone cards as possible, especially at events.
Or, buy a handful of each achievement and milestone card, left unsigned, and gather signatures from people at a mega or giga event who qualify for each. Then edit the card's trackable listing page to describe whose signatures were collected at the event.
You have the flexibility to commemorate milestones however you like with these cards!
This is a trackable card, do I need to activate it?
Each card ordered (all of its copies ordered in one item) share one official Tracking Code for use on geocaching.com (ordering 10 of one card means each card shares 1 tracking code). If someone were to 'discover' the tracking code, they would be led to the listing dedicated to that specific card achievement, milestone, and the user who activates it.
There is no requirement that the owner of the card be the one to have achieved the milestone. If you purchased the card(s), you can activate and own them yourself, or give them to a friend to activate and own.
BUT, be sure that someone activates it before the card and its code is released to the public, just like any other trackable item!
Protip for discover-only Trackables: If you order multiple cards with one tracking code, Activate the TB at geocaching.com/track, then make sure it's marked Collectible, then move it to your collection, then mark it NOT collectible. Then no one will be able to 'grab' it from you, only discover it. If you want to be able to have it 'visit' events, just move it to your active Inventory.
How many accomplishment categories are there now?
At launch of the Geocacher Prestige cards, there are 12 categories to recognize, including:
Jasmer grid, Fizzy grid, Smiley count, Physical finds, Most in 1 day, Published caches, Megas attended, Gigas attended, Continents with finds, Total FTFs, FTF monthly streak, and Daily find streak
Each ranges from 'easy' to 'crazy' in milestone levels.
Are there any other special accomplishments not available for purchase?
The general accomplishments are available as cards in set, but there are cards available only through other channels:
Patron Prestige
Patron supporters of Cache The Line can earn increasing milestone cards for their increasing lifetime support via Patreon by month, from 6 months through many multiple years!
How do I play these cards in Cache Hunters?
The Cache Hunters base game will be launching as a Kickstarter very shortly, so for now you can begin collecting cards to boost your TCG (trading card game) catalogue, along with the numerous themed cards and packs already available in the shop, ready for use and play within the game when it launches!
I want to keep and collect these cards, but they're also playable in Cache Hunters. How do I keep them in good condition if they're used in the play decks?
As with some other more highly valued cards that can be stored in harder shell or toploader sleeves, it is possible to 'swap' a standard placeholder card for the special card if it comes up during play.
For one example, the Podcast of Hope "Fundraiser" cards are all holofoil variants, but there is a general Fundraiser card in the base game which, while in play, can be swapped for the special holofoil version if owned, and swapped back when done.
In the case of holofoil Prestige cards, each order comes with a standard non-foil version of the card for use in the game, and when in play it can either be swapped for the foil card or used as is.
If you own a collection of cards and you like to play with them, how you store and protect them is entirely up to you! Some may store every card in a loose sleeve, others may keep all their cards as is.
The general rule is this: If you have an identical card or one that indicates it can be swapped which is stored in a different manner than within your play decks, you can swap it as desired.
These cards need to be signed. Do I need to deface the card for it to be useful?
In this case, the cards have a minimal functional value in the game if unsigned, but yes, for unlock its potential it must be signed.
If you find value in keeping it unsigned, then you can choose to keep it that way. But you may find more value in trading for signed cards of other geocachers to fill up your owned collection!
If a card is signed is it a verified geocaching achievement?
The nature of geocaching is very arbitrary and trusting of people's statistics and claims. Cache Hunters doesn't guarantee that a user who signed a Prestige card is verified to have legitimately earned it. It's not hard to check though with existing online tools!
